My Growin' Boy

Well I know McDonalds isn't the best thing for an 11 month old to be eating...but hey, every once in a while isn't so bad. He wouldn't let me tear little pieces off for him to eat. He thinks he's a big boy already and insists on feeding himself. Well, he is a big boy...bigger than I want him to be right now. It's just too soon for him to be almost 1 year old!!!!

card games

Our lunchtime ritual at work is to play cards. Now that we have completely worn out our Phase 10 cards we have moved on to Skip Bo. It's a lot of fun. But we are maniacs when it comes to our card games. What's so crazy is that we even played on the plane during our trip to LA and into the wee hours during our stay! Crazy but true!!!

My babies make my heart smile

When stressful times arise I try to count on the man upstairs. But one other thing that helps is thinking of my kids and it makes my heart smile. Although this picture is when Spencer was a newborn...he is 10 months old today... it is one of my very favorite pictures. And what is so amazing is that Kylie still loves her baby brother today just as much as this picture shows. She kisses him everyday and tells him how much she loves him. And Spencer responds to that with his bright smile and is now hugging her. He definitely knows his big sister. It makes me know how blessed I am to have such wonderful kids. It keeps my chin up.

BAD BOY

Ok...so I couldn't find an appropriate picture to add so I'll just come out and tell you what a bad boy I have. I went to pick Spencer up at daycare the other day and one of his teachers told me a very funny story...not just funny but make you loose your breath from laughing kind of funny...at least for me it was. Spencer was crawling over to his teacher and tried to pull up to her in order to stand up. Well low and behold (no pun intended), her pants became low and held. Spencer grabbed on to her pants and pulled them down to her ankles! She was so embarrased. Luckily no one was around other than one other teacher and the other infants. Hee Hee...I hope this isn't the start of something...
